What you will do

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts across the business, including creating new form agreements.
• Manage the development and improvement of legal and approval processes, company policies, internal training and guides, and templates to scale with the company as it grows.
• Provide solution-oriented legal, regulatory, and strategic advice and direction to teams across our company.
• Efficiently manage and work with outside counsel to support projects you manage.
• Stay up-to-date and ensure compliance with Singapore, APAC and international laws and regulations that apply to AI technologies.
• Build positive relationships across the company and with its external partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above (LLB, LLM, JD preferred) from an accredited law school; admitted to practice law in Singapore.
• 8+ years of law firm and/or in-house experience.
• 5+ years experience in-house at Tech/AI companies, covering Asia, Japan, Australia and New Zealand
• Hands-on public sector contract negotiation required.
• Experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, including creating and refining form agreements.
• Excellent writing, communication, and people skills.
