Program Analyst (Finance)

TL;DR

Program Analyst (Finance): Performing liability modeling and financial analysis to assess and monitor insurance liabilities with an accent on risk identification and deal model development. Focus on conducting validations, performing experience studies, and collaborating across Actuarial, Risk, and Finance teams to support investment strategies.

Location: Must be based in New York, NY (Onsite 5 days per week)

Salary: $125,000 – $160,000 USD

What you will do

• Perform liability modeling for pricing and financial analysis.
• Reconcile model output against various data sources.
• Identify and stress test insurance and capital markets risks embedded in liabilities.
• Conduct static and dynamic model validations.
• Assist in developing deal models under US Stat, Bermuda EBS, and GAAP frameworks.
• Support experience studies for reinsurance pricing and performance monitoring.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative discipline such as Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Physics.
• Minimum 2 years of modeling experience in a quantitative finance or insurance setting.
• Strong analytical abilities with the capacity to communicate complex research conclusions.
• Ability to thrive and solve problems in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
