Location: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. San Francisco, CA
Salary: $400,000 - $570,000 USD

What you will do
- Define and own the comprehensive marketing strategy driving business outcomes for Claude.
- Lead and develop a team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and data-driven decision-making.
- Establish Claude's positioning in the market and develop messaging frameworks that differentiate Claude from competitors.
- Drive integrated marketing campaigns that build awareness, generate demand, and accelerate adoption across technical and non-technical prosumer segments.
- Partner with product leadership to develop go-to-market strategies for new Claude capabilities and product features.
- Identify strategic partnership and collaboration opportunities that extend Claude's reach and cultural relevance.
Requirements
- 15+ years of marketing experience with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles.
- Proven track record of building and scaling high-performing marketing teams at fast-growth technology companies.
- Experience developing and executing integrated marketing strategies that drive measurable business outcomes in global markets.
- Demonstrated success leading diverse teams across brand, growth, product marketing, and content/social functions.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and inspire at all levels.
- Data-driven decision-making approach with comfort analyzing metrics and deriving actionable insights.
Nice to have
- Experience marketing AI, machine learning, or other emerging technology products.
- Understanding of the AI safety landscape and experience communicating about responsible AI development.
- Background in consumer technology products with large-scale adoption.
