TL;DR

Customer Success Manager (AI): Scaling high-touch and digital-first customer engagements to drive adoption and retention of Claude Enterprise, Code, and API products with an accent on programmatic success design. Focus on building AI-powered processes to personalize customer journeys and managing a diverse portfolio of commercial and enterprise accounts.

Location: Must be based in San Francisco, CA (Hybrid policy: at least 25% in-office)

Salary: $200,000–$260,000 USD

What you will do

  • Manage scaled customer engagement across a large portfolio of commercial and enterprise accounts.
  • Design and execute one-to-many programs including email campaigns, webinars, and self-service resources.
  • Develop AI-powered processes to personalize communications and automate repetitive tasks.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Product to drive growth and product adoption.
  • Aggregate customer insights to influence the product roadmap and improve user experience.
  • Execute strategic human touchpoints for key moments like activation, renewal, and risk intervention.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in customer-facing roles such as Customer Success or Account Management.
  • Experience with digital-first, tech-touch engagement models or building scaled customer programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze customer health metrics and product usage data.
  • Strong systems thinking and process-oriented mindset for building repeatable playbooks.
  • Technical aptitude to master complex AI and API-based products.
  • Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity in the San Francisco office.

Nice to have

  • Background in Digital Customer Success or Scaled Success.
  • Experience with usage-driven business models.
  • Familiarity with Customer Success platforms like Gainsight or Vitally.
  • Track record of building customer programs from scratch.
