TL;DR

Business Development Representative (Sales): Building and qualifying sales pipelines for B2B events with an accent on lead generation, CRM management, and cross-departmental collaboration. Location: Must be based in the US or be able to work in a hybrid capacity (in-office 3+ days/week)

What you will do

  • Generate leads via cold calling and targeted email campaigns.
  • Qualify inbound leads from marketing, website inquiries, and events.
  • Research business opportunities and schedule discovery meetings with prospective clients.
  • Maintain accurate lead data and track client interactions within Salesforce CRM.
  • Collaborate with sales managers to support proposals and follow-up schedules.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in partnership with the Finance department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Must have the ability to work in-office at least 3 days per week.
  • 1–3 years of experience in sales, customer service, or business development.
  • Professional phone presence and strong verbal/written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce) and MS Office Suite.
  • Resilient mindset comfortable with cold outreach and meeting sales targets.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience with sales automation tools.
  • Background in B2B sales development.
