Salary: $160,000 - $270,000 per year

What you will do

• Build and optimize APIs, backend services, and distributed systems to support organizational growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend, product, and infrastructure to ship new features.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions while communicating across teams.
• Conduct thorough testing and performance tuning to ensure system reliability and product impact.
• Participate in architecture discussions, propose technical solutions, and handle loosely defined engineering challenges.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to raising the overall quality of engineering outcomes.

Requirements

• 10-15+ years of professional backend software engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in distributed systems, API development, and cloud computing.
• Proven experience working with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native infrastructure.
• Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Go, Python, Kotlin, or TypeScript.
• Must be able to work onsite in a hybrid capacity in Palo Alto, New York, or San Francisco.
