TL;DR

Head of Total Rewards & People Operations (HR Operations/Executive Compensation): Leading the strategy, governance, and execution of global rewards, payroll, and HRIS functions with an accent on public company regulatory compliance and executive compensation programs. Focus on supporting Board-level decision-making and driving operational excellence through HR technology and scalable frameworks.

Location: Must be based in Arlington, VA; Alpharetta, GA; or Houston, TX with a requirement for 4 days in-office attendance.

What you will do

  • Advise the Board and Compensation Committee on executive compensation, incentive design, and performance outcomes.
  • Develop and oversee global compensation, benefits, and equity strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead global HR operations and payroll services to ensure scalability, compliance, and process efficiency.
  • Own the HR technology ecosystem, including HRIS, and execute the roadmap for digital enablement.
  • Partner with Finance, Legal, and leadership to manage workforce costs and internal audit readiness.
  • Build and lead high-performing global teams across Total Rewards, Payroll, and HRIS.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of leadership experience in Total Rewards, HR Operations, Payroll, or HRIS in a global, complex organization.
  • Proven experience supporting public company Boards and Compensation Committees.
  • Deep expertise in executive compensation, equity programs, proxy disclosures, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong financial and analytical acumen with experience leading HR technology transformations.
  • Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree or relevant certifications like CCP or CEBS are preferred.
  • Ability to work from one of our designated office locations (Arlington, Alpharetta, or Houston) 4 days per week.
