What you will do
- Develop and maintain backend services throughout the software development lifecycle from requirements to production.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Coordinate with international engineering teams on system design and architectural implementation.
- Optimize core services for performance, scalability, and reliability within an event-driven architecture.
- Work closely with QA and DevOps teams to uphold quality standards and ensure production readiness.
- Support the continuous evolution of a professional trading platform.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional web development experience.
- Expert-level knowledge of backend technologies, including Node.js and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka, Redis, Kubernetes, and MongoDB.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
- Deep understanding of performance profiling, computational complexity, and code optimization.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related fundamental field.
Nice to have
- Experience in fintech, capital markets, or electronic trading.
- Proven background in high-load system tuning.
- Proficiency in implementing industry-standard algorithms and design patterns.
