What you will do

• Collaborate in cross-functional teams with Frontend Engineers, Product Teams, and Designers to create seamless experiences.
• Develop and enhance robust new features and APIs throughout the entire Software Development Lifecycle.
• Optimize systems for large transaction volumes, handling concurrency, idempotency, and performance under load.
• Design and maintain scalable backend architectures to support rapid growth.
• Identify and resolve bugs efficiently to ensure top-tier product quality.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript/JavaScript best practices.
• Expertise in PostgreSQL, including query optimization and database modeling.
• Strong understanding of OOP principles and design patterns.
• Must be based in one of the listed EMEA countries.
• Proven experience working in distributed, remote-first teams with strong asynchronous communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with SaaS products running 24/7 on major cloud vendors.
• Familiarity with serverless architecture on AWS.
• Knowledge of the Fintech industry and its unique challenges.
