What you will do

• Design and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Develop and optimize RESTful APIs and GraphQL integrations.
• Lead technical decisions regarding backend architecture, scalability, and system reliability.
• Identify and resolve performance, security, and reliability issues across distributed systems.
• Drive code reviews, architectural discussions, and implement CI/CD practices.
• Improve system observability, monitoring, logging, and error handling.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Node.js backend development.
• Strong expertise in building scalable backend systems and APIs.
• Experience with NoSQL databases, specifically MongoDB.
• Proven experience deploying and maintaining production systems in AWS cloud environments.
• Experience with serverless architectures, Terraform, and integrating AI coding technologies (LLMs, Copilot, Claude Code).
