What you will do

• Lead and align catastrophe modeling initiatives across global insurance and reinsurance business units.
• Develop and execute comprehensive modeling strategies to support underwriting, pricing, and capital planning.
• Drive technological innovation through the integration of AI, machine learning, and big data analytics.
• Incorporate emerging risks and climate change impacts into existing modeling frameworks.
• Partner with senior leadership, actuarial teams, and external stakeholders to translate modeling insights into business objectives.
• Mentor team members and promote a culture of continuous learning and methodological rigor.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience in catastrophe modeling within the insurance or reinsurance sector.
• Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and complex strategic initiatives.
• Expertise in industry-standard modeling platforms such as RMS or AIR.
• Advanced degree in a quantitative field like mathematics, engineering, or environmental science.
• Strong understanding of global reinsurance markets, regulatory frameworks, and data management best practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
