What you will do
- Conduct 1-1s and performance reviews to provide personalized feedback and career development support.
- Cultivate a psychologically safe culture that promotes trust, transparency, and high performance.
- Oversee end-to-end hiring processes, from identifying talent needs to interviewing and onboarding.
- Ensure engineering best practices and knowledge sharing across cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to represent engineering needs and drive business success.
- Monitor team health to identify bottlenecks and support data-driven decision-making.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a line manager with a passion for mentoring and team development.
- Strong background in coaching and providing constructive feedback to engineers.
- Expertise in building empowered teams founded on trust and open communication.
- Experience in attracting talent and building efficient, objective hiring pipelines.
- Familiarity with current engineering management best practices.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience with high-throughput APIs, data visualization tools, or ETL pipelines.
- Background in managing DevOps engineers.
- Experience in a company that has undergone a scaling phase.
- Active interest in crypto and blockchain technologies.
