What you will do

• Conduct 1-1s and performance reviews to provide personalized feedback and career development support.
• Cultivate a psychologically safe culture that promotes trust, transparency, and high performance.
• Oversee end-to-end hiring processes, from identifying talent needs to interviewing and onboarding.
• Ensure engineering best practices and knowledge sharing across cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to represent engineering needs and drive business success.
• Monitor team health to identify bottlenecks and support data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a line manager with a passion for mentoring and team development.
• Strong background in coaching and providing constructive feedback to engineers.
• Expertise in building empowered teams founded on trust and open communication.
• Experience in attracting talent and building efficient, objective hiring pipelines.
• Familiarity with current engineering management best practices.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with high-throughput APIs, data visualization tools, or ETL pipelines.
• Background in managing DevOps engineers.
• Experience in a company that has undergone a scaling phase.
