TL;DR

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to London (2 days per week in office)

What you will do
- Lead and mentor a team of platform engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
- Define and implement platform engineering best practices to ensure system consistency, scalability, and reliability.
- Drive the integration and adoption of AI tools across day-to-day operations and large-scale projects.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and QA teams to align infrastructure strategy with business outcomes.
- Maintain a hands-on approach to cloud architecture and platform operations.
- Implement DevSecOps principles, ensuring security, monitoring, and automation are integrated into the platform lifecycle.
Requirements
- Experience in managing Cloud or Platform engineering teams in a leadership capacity.
- Deep understanding of modern cloud infrastructure and scalable system architectures, with specific expertise in Azure.
- Proven ability to work with and scale platforms supporting fast-paced containerized environments.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge gaps between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Commitment to a hybrid work model with 2 days per week in the London office.
- Demonstrated experience in fostering reliability and driving cross-functional team success.
Nice to have
- Experience with large-scale migration or cloud-native infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of advanced monitoring and observability tools.
- Experience in highly regulated fintech or payment environments.
