TL;DR
Head Of Engineering (AI): Operational leadership of the engineering organization during a rapid scale-up phase with an accent on organizational design, cross-geo alignment, and AI-first engineering culture. Focus on building the processes and rituals that maintain high velocity and autonomy as the team grows from 10 to over 100 people.
Location: Hybrid, with offices in London, New York, and Singapore.
Salary: £120,000–£180,000 per annum + equity.

What you will do
- Structure the team for growth and establish presence in new geographies.
- Define delivery rituals and release practices to maintain high shipping speed.
- Manage career development, performance, and engineering culture health.
- Partner with the CTO and CPO on technical direction, organizational strategy, and operational backbone.
- Own the engineering hiring pipeline and lead the expansion of the team.
Requirements
- Experience scaling engineering organizations in early-stage environments (10–100+).
- Strong operational leadership and people management skills (hiring, performance, 1:1s).
- First-hand experience with AI-assisted development workflows and evaluation-driven development.
- Excellent written communication for an async-friendly, distributed environment.
- Ability to partner effectively across functions including product, design, and commercial.
- Proven ability to coach and lead highly autonomous senior engineers.
Nice to have
- Experience with vertical SaaS or enterprise software.
- Knowledge of the real estate industry or adjacent sectors.
- Previous experience building or working on agentic systems.
