Salary: $160,000 – $300,000

What you will do

• Lead architecture discussions to ensure projects are built in a sound, reliable, and performant way.
• Improve user experiences for software engineers and engineering teams.
• Perform Fullstack coding, 60% back end and 40% front end.
• Mentor other engineers on best practices for software engineering.
• Optimize the performance of components for both latency and throughput.
• Collaborate with Product Management to scope and execute product features while maintaining hirify.global’s values.

Requirements

• Experience leading and coordinating large infrastructural and architectural projects and rollouts.
• Comfort with a startup mindset and taking initiative.
• Knowledge and ability to effectively project manage.
• Excitement to leverage modern tools and AI to drive greater efficiency and higher quality output.
• Ability to architect, build and maintain configurable systems that unlock better workflows in foster care.
• Excitement to jump into our Ruby on Rails and React architecture and write foundational and expansive features.

Nice to have

• Experience with configurable enterprise software, or better yet government-facing software.
• Ruby skills/experience on lock, Rails, React, and/or GraphQL experience.
• Curiosity, experience, and excellent judgment.
