What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain complex backend systems.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to develop and ship features.
• Design, build, and maintain APIs.
• Find and solve performance issues.
• Participate in code reviews and communicate best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience.
• Experience building complex architecture systems from the ground up.
• Experience with backend architectural patterns of large, high-scale web applications.
• Ability to design clean APIs and understanding of performance issues.
• Experienced with software engineering best practices.
• Ability to communicate technical specifications both verbally and written.
• Understanding of security, common attacks, and defenses.
