TL;DR

Senior Brand Marketing Lead (Strategy & Planning): Shaping and driving Very's brand strategy, ensuring it is rooted in insight and powerfully activated across every consumer touchpoint. Focus on translating business objectives into clear propositions and elevating creative across the customer journey.

Location: Liverpool, England, United Kingdom. Open to frequent travel between London and Liverpool for collaboration.

What you will do

  • Champion an insight-led culture, owning insights and measurement frameworks.
  • Lead the development of Very's brand strategy and positioning.
  • Own Very's brand guidelines, distinctive brand assets, and IP portfolio.
  • Lead annual and quarterly brand planning, staying close to consumer and cultural trends.
  • Act as a brand partner across the business, managing agency relationships.
  • Line manage and mentor a Brand Manager and Executive.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in a brand strategy or planning role.
  • Proven success in creating and executing brand strategies.
  • Strong track record of grounding strategy in robust insight.
  • Deep understanding of integrated marketing and how brand strategy translates across channels.
  • Understand what it takes to bring a new identity to life consistently across a complex organisation.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
