TL;DR

Senior Frontend Engineer (Vue): Building and enhancing user-facing shopping platforms with an accent on modernizing the tech stack and optimizing user experiences. Focus on migrating legacy codebases to Vue 3/Vite and ensuring high-quality, scalable frontend architecture.

Location: Must be based in or be able to relocate to Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Role requires a hybrid work schedule.

What you will do

  • Build and maintain reusable, high-quality Vue.js components.
  • Lead the migration of the codebase from Vue 2 to Vue 3.
  • Transition build tooling from Webpack to Vite.
  • Integrate with GraphQL APIs for efficient data delivery.
  • Maintain code quality through best practices and clean architecture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience building applications with client-side JavaScript frameworks.
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript.
  • Deep understanding of browser rendering and platform limitations.
  • Solid experience with CSS architecture and responsive design.
  • Proficiency in version control and CI/CD workflows.
  • Must be based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, or planning to relocate.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Vue 3 Composition API and Pinia/Vuex.
  • Hands-on experience with GraphQL clients like Apollo.
  • Proven track record of large-scale frontend migrations.
  • Knowledge of frontend testing tools such as Jest.
