What you will do
- Build and maintain reusable, high-quality Vue.js components and user interfaces
- Lead the migration of the codebase from Twig and Vue 2 to Vue 3
- Transition build tooling from Webpack to Vite to streamline development workflows
- Integrate with GraphQL APIs for efficient data fetching and state updates
- Maintain code quality through rigorous testing, clean architecture, and best practices
- Collaborate cross-functionally with designers, product managers, and backend engineers in an agile environment
Requirements
- Must be based in or able to relocate to Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
- Proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
- 3+ years of experience building applications with client-side JavaScript frameworks
- Solid understanding of CSS architecture, layout techniques, and responsive design
- Fundamental understanding of browser rendering and platform capabilities
- Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
- English proficiency required for communication
Nice to have
- Experience with Vue 3 and Composition API
- Proven history of migrating frontend applications
- Hands-on experience with GraphQL clients such as Apollo Client
- Familiarity with state management libraries like Pinia or Vuex
- Knowledge of testing tools like Jest and Vue Test Utils
