Salary: US Pay Range $160,800 - $193,000 USD

What you will do

• Build automation tooling and pipeline development
• Complex workflow automation via Temporal
• Integrate with 3rd party work tracking and requirements systems
• Integrate with custom systems and hardware testing platforms
• Responsible for build and packaging performance
• Implementation of release candidacy workflows

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field with 6+ years of professional experience or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field with 4+ years of professional experience
• Deep expertise in architecting hermetic, scalable build systems using Bazel or Buildstream
• Advanced experience designing complex, resilient background processes and stateful workflows using Temporal or similar
• Expertise in AWS infrastructure and advanced Docker orchestration
• Deep knowledge of Debian packaging internals and repository management at scale
• Mastery of Python for building sophisticated developer platforms and automation frameworks

Nice to have

• Direct experience custom embedded Linux distributions
• Experience mentoring junior engineers on build best practices
