Salary: $139,900 – $304,200 per year, depending on location.

What you will do

• Hire, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Data Infrastructure Engineers.
• Define the technical vision for scalable Big Data Infrastructure supporting mission-critical AI agentic systems.
• Lead architectural reviews and establish engineering standards for storage, compute, and analytics layers.
• Champion DevOps and SRE best practices, including automated deployments and proactive capacity planning.
• Partner with Data Scientists, ML Researchers, and Security teams to deliver secure, seamless data workflows.
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code initiatives to drive operational excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, Math, or Engineering.
• 6+ years of experience in data engineering, software development, or analytics.
• Deep expertise in Big Data infrastructure, distributed systems, and cloud-native environments.
• Proven record of technical leadership, team management, and mentoring engineering talent.
• Strong fluency in automation scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
• Experience with containerized deployments (Kubernetes, Helm) and modern data platforms like Databricks or Kafka.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI agentic orchestration frameworks like Semantic Kernel or AutoGen.
• Deep familiarity with cloud-native infrastructure on Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Knowledge of modern web stacks including TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
