What you will do

• Hire, train, and manage a high-growth team of Solution Architects within the Retail vertical.
• Partner with Sales and Field Engineering leadership to drive consumption targets and ensure customer success.
• Promote best practices for technical qualification, proof of concepts, architecture design, and product demonstrations.
• Establish and maintain relationships with technical executives to guide strategic data initiatives.
• Ensure the team maintains advanced technical knowledge of the Databricks stack and industry trends.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Product Management, and Customer Success teams.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience in data space (data warehousing, big data, or machine learning).
• 3+ years of professional experience architecting data-driven solutions for major accounts in Retail, Consumer Products, or Travel & Hospitality.
• 3+ years of experience leading technical pre-sales teams including hiring and onboarding.
• Demonstrated expertise with data collaboration ecosystems like CDPs, clean rooms, and data marketplaces.
• Proven ability to influence complex architectures and earn the trust of engineering talent.
• Strong understanding of how Data and AI drive impact within the retail industry.
