What you will do
- Own the vision, strategy, roadmap, and full product lifecycle for the SAFE portfolio.
- Define investment priorities based on customer needs, commercial return, strategic objectives, and delivery capacity.
- Drive innovation through emerging technologies, automation, and AI while improving reuse and standardisation.
- Use customer, market, competitor, reporting, and analytics insights to improve adoption, utilisation, and product-market fit.
- Lead product governance, investment planning, commercial decision-making, and bid governance.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Sales, Finance, and Delivery to execute the roadmap and realise product benefits.
Requirements
- Significant experience leading enterprise software or SaaS product portfolios.
- Proven success defining and delivering product strategies and roadmaps.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Delivery.
- Experience with product governance, commercial decision-making, and portfolio investment.
- Experience as part of a senior leadership team and strong knowledge of Agile product management.
- Strong stakeholder management, influencing, negotiation, communication, presentation, and analytical decision-making skills.
Nice to have
- Experience in public safety, emergency services, justice, or other mission-critical sectors.
- Experience delivering products in highly regulated or security-conscious environments.
- Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management frameworks.
- Experience transitioning bespoke solutions to product-led delivery.
- Familiarity with Agile, SAFe, or modern product development methodologies.
