What you will do

• Research and analyze GB electricity market structures to understand how flexibility is incentivized.
• Develop data models to analyze consumer behavior and characteristics.
• Provide insights on how customer behavior impacts company value.
• Present findings and data-driven insights to internal teams.
• Collaborate with the flexibility team to support the strategy for Net Zero emissions.

Requirements

• Available for full-time internship from 6th July to 28th August 2026.
• Must identify with a Black, Black British, African or Caribbean background.
• Strong numerical competencies and experience with Excel.
• Interest in grid flexibility, smart energy systems, and sustainability.
• Willingness to learn and utilize programming tools such as SQL, Python, or Databricks.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
