What you will do
- Ensure 100% accuracy in account reconciliation, managing exceptions and funding discrepancies.
- Analyze operational trends to identify opportunities for automation and process enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate financial data and resolve client-impacting issues.
- Document ongoing processes and provide strategic recommendations to optimize metrics.
- Assist in executing initiatives to streamline payment workflows and client-facing solutions.
- Meet internal deadlines for all reconciliation tasks and contribute to team-wide projects.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in a business-related field such as Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience in financial operations or similar roles.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including Pivot Tables, formulas, and conditional formatting.
- Solid understanding of core financial concepts including debits, credits, and payment funding.
- Familiarity with the US healthcare system and health plan operations.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle time-critical tasks independently.

- Practical knowledge of SQL, Python, or other coding/querying languages.
