What you will do

• Own and build backend services and infrastructure to power the observability platform.
• Ensure reliable, high-throughput data pipelines and APIs.
• Collaborate with open-source contributors and customers to solve technical challenges.
• Design and implement scalable systems for petabyte-scale data ingestion and querying.
• Contribute to Go-based services within the architecture.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on backend development.
• Deep expertise in TypeScript and Node.js (Express, Fastify).
• Strong understanding of API design, distributed systems, and data modeling.
• Experience with containerized environments like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Passion for open source and developer community engagement.

Nice to have

• Experience with Go, hirify.global, or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with OpenTelemetry, Kafka, or NATS.
• Experience designing SDKs or client libraries.
