What you will do
- Develop and maintain a Go microservice architecture handling 2+ million daily interactions.
- Design high-throughput event streaming pipelines using Kafka, SQS/SNS, and Kinesis.
- Optimize queries across large-scale databases like DynamoDB, MySQL, Druid, and Athena.
- Integrate machine learning algorithms with the Data Science team for real-time ad targeting.
- Participate in peer code reviews and technical knowledge sharing.
- Optionally work with Terraform, Docker, and serverless infrastructure.
Requirements
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
- 5+ years backend development experience, 3+ years in Go production environments
- Experience with event-driven microservices and high-scale data systems
- Willingness to relocate to Hamburg, Germany or work remotely worldwide
