What you will do

• Build and own the company financial model, incorporating scenario planning, hiring projections, and profitability analysis.
• Oversee accounting, tax compliance, and financial books, ensuring high accuracy and timeliness.
• Lead FP&A and strategic financial planning to support scaling initiatives and capital allocation.
• Partner with go-to-market leadership to optimize revenue forecasting, sales compensation, and invoicing workflows.
• Prepare quarterly financial reporting for leadership and the board, translating complex data into strategic recommendations.
• Improve finance systems by leveraging automation and AI to maintain operational rigor in a fast-growing environment.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in North or South America
• 8+ years of experience in early-stage startup environments (pre-Series B preferred).
• Proven experience working closely with a founder CEO.
• Deep expertise in financial modeling, accounting oversight, and strategic FP&A.
• Strong background in partnering with revenue teams on forecasting and collections.
• Ability to present complex financial results to executive and board-level audiences.

• Experience within the SaaS industry and knowledge of key SaaS metrics.
• Experience with M&A processes.
• Comfort with evaluating and implementing AI tools to enhance finance and accounting efficiency.
