What you will do

• Drive the overall technology strategy and technical vision for the Data Platform and Account & Identity domains.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing senior architecture team.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and business leadership to align technical goals with wider organizational outcomes.
• Define and govern architectural standards for data, AI/ML, and identity ecosystems to ensure sustainability and regulatory compliance.
• Identify technology gaps and opportunities, ensuring solutions remain performant and scalable under high-traffic demands.
• Provide expert architectural guidance for major platform decisions, including vendor selection and long-term investment strategy.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the UK and available for hybrid presence at a major hirify.global hub.
• Significant experience as a technical architect designing scalable, reliable, and maintainable large-scale systems.
• Proven ability to influence C-Level stakeholders and drive change across large engineering organizations.
• Strong background in cloud computing, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Leadership experience in agile delivery at scale with a focus on coaching and mentoring.
• Deep understanding of industry trends in data processing and AI/ML and their integration into enterprise architecture.
