What you will do

• Drive overall technology strategy as part of the Product Group Engineering Leadership team.
• Create and evolve platforms that allow 1000+ engineers to develop securely and efficiently on the cloud.
• Lead architectural approaches for partnerships, outsourced solutions, and operational monitoring.
• Establish platforms and guardrails for the strategic adoption of AI across the software development lifecycle.
• Line manage, coach, and mentor a team of talented architects.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Data, and UX leadership to ensure architectural alignment.

Requirements

• Significant experience as a technical architect designing scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems.
• Proven digital leadership experience with the ability to influence C-level stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of cloud computing (e.g., AWS), microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Substantial experience leading in large-scale software development environments using agile methodologies.
• Must be eligible to work in the UK.

• Background in data processing at scale.
• Experience with architectural governance balancing standardization with team autonomy.
