Program Director

Location: Florianopolis (Brazil) or Los Angeles (US) office; Remote within Brazil or the US.

Salary: $150,000 - $210,000 per year (based in LA).

What you will do

• Own client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for celebrations and challenges.
• Mentor and guide PMs and Tech Leads in transforming complex goals into actionable plans.
• Help clients prioritize needs, aligning on immediate and future objectives.
• Ensure high-quality releases and maintain client confidence.
• Provide leadership with clear updates and accurate forecasts.
• Expand impact by building relationships, identifying opportunities, and fostering long-term partnerships.

Requirements

• Experience leading complex software programs to successful completion.
• Ability to communicate effectively with engineers, executives, and clients.
• Experience managing distributed teams and identifying strong talent.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Understanding of AI alignment.

Nice to have

• Experience as a founder, CEO, CTO, or product lead.
• Experience with government or research programs like DARPA, NSF, or ARPA.
• Familiarity with compliance and bureaucracy.
