What you will do

• Own and lead League of Legends’ EMEA-wide comms, social, influencer, and community strategy.
• Serve as the regional counterpart to the Global Editor in Chief, maintaining alignment and consistency of storytelling across all EMEA markets.
• Partner with local Community Leads to shape culturally relevant narratives, creator collaborations, and community initiatives that drive product and publishing outcomes.
• Lead regional crisis communications response and prioritize communications efforts based on player and product impact.
• Act as the craft lead for community, content, social, influencer, and communications across the region, raising the quality bar for all channels.
• Build and maintain strong relationships across country Community Leads, ensuring alignment, collaboration, and best practice sharing.

Requirements

• 7+ years in communications, social media, community, or related fields within games, entertainment, or tech.
• Proven experience leading integrated comms and community strategies at a regional or multi-market level.
• Strong crisis communications management experience.
• Demonstrated success in crafting culturally relevant campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences.
• Experience directly managing people within a high-performing organisation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (additional languages a plus).

• Experience working with global and local publishing teams to adapt storytelling for regional audiences.
• Proven ability to integrate influencer, creator, and community strategies into broader marketing campaigns.
• Track record of managing social and content strategies for live service games or esports.
• Deep understanding of MOBA gaming culture and the League of Legends player community.
