Location: Vancouver, British Columbia (Hybrid). Candidates are required to be based in British Columbia and eligible to work in Canada

Salary: $67,600 to $78,000/year

What you will do

• Set up a show’s editorial components and ensure correct client show specs are in place.
• Ingest and process all client editorial material, including client cuts, Avid bins, VFX line-up sheets, plates, and CDLs.
• Set up Shotgun with all editorial-related information from client VFX line-ups and manage this information for a show’s duration.
• Keep cuts updated with the latest VFX versions of shots and create review media for team and supervisor review.
• QC all shot deliveries to the client and other material, such as plates for outsource vendors.
• Create and update demo reels of VFX material as assigned by Marketing and Production.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of film editing experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical school certification in film editing or computer graphics, or equivalent work experience in animation, film, or digital effects.
• Advanced knowledge of Avid Media Composer.
• Familiarity with RV, Resolve, Nuke, and Adobe Premiere (+CS) is an asset.
• Good understanding of Autodesk Shotgun production tracking system.
• Comfortable using Windows, Linux, and Mac operating systems.
