Senior Unreal Programmer (Unreal Engine)

Location: Remote, but applicants must currently be located in Ontario, Canada

Salary: CAD 92,500–132,500 per year

What you will do

• Create and iterate on gameplay features with art and design teams.
• Use rapid prototyping while making strong architectural and algorithmic decisions.
• Write robust, understandable code and maintainable gameplay systems.
• Diagnose and fix networking and gameplay issues in existing systems.
• Contribute ideas across game production and development.

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of professional Unreal Engine experience across UE4 and UE5 in the gaming industry.
• Professional game development experience on PC and consoles, including shipped titles.
• Strong C++ and Epic Blueprint skills, with the ability to architect gameplay mechanics and tools.
• Strong mathematics, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English communication skills in written and verbal form.
• Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience; able to work independently.

Nice to have

• Interest in online games.
• Strong knowledge of games and ability to evaluate existing game design.
