What you will do

• Collaborate with designers, artists, and animators to implement high-quality in-game character animations.
• Bridge the gap between Unreal Engine core technology and animation gameplay requirements.
• Monitor and optimize the performance and network reliability of animation systems.
• Develop test cases and integrate closely with the QA team.
• Manage time and responsibilities effectively to meet prioritized project goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent training.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a gameplay or animation engineer.
• Deep knowledge of Unreal Engine 5 animation systems.
• Strong programming proficiency in C/C++.
• Solid understanding of animation methodologies including foot IK, rigging, motion matching, and blend trees.
• Strong mathematics and linear algebra skills.
• Familiarity with Claude Code in a game development environment.
