What you will do

• Manage the full development cycle from backlog refinement to feature launch.
• Design, develop, and maintain a highly scalable application architecture.
• Refactor and optimize existing code to ensure high performance and security.
• Investigate and implement new technologies to enhance platform stability.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and mentor team members.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of commercial software development experience
• Expert-level proficiency in Ruby and the Rails ecosystem
• Strong expertise in designing and optimizing relational databases like PostgreSQL
• Solid understanding of CS fundamentals, OOP principles, and data structures
• English level: Intermediate (B1) or higher
• Must be based in or able to work from Georgia, Poland, or Serbia

Nice to have

• Experience with event streaming and message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Strong TDD skills and experience writing specs with RSpec
• Proficiency in performance tuning, indexing, and caching strategies
