What you will do

• Design and maintain high-scale, reliable backend services for an AI-native product.
• Develop and optimize microservices using Scala within a large-scale architecture.
• Collaborate on end-to-end solutions, influencing strategic architectural decisions.
• Utilize AI tools to accelerate development cycles, documentation, and testing.
• Ensure system performance and scalability while managing asynchronous and synchronous data flows.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Poland.
• English and Polish: Working proficiency required.
• Strong expertise in Scala and distributed systems.
• Solid understanding of SQL and relational database design.
• Proven ability to influence product strategy through technical ownership.
• Experience in disciplined engineering practices like testing, observability, and modular architecture.

• Experience with functional programming libraries like Cats, Fs2, ZIO, or Http4s.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes or Docker Swarm.
