What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js and NestJS.
• Propose and implement architectural improvements for core systems to support long-term extensibility.
• Champion high code quality standards and provide technical mentorship to the team.
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and proactively resolve reliability issues.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and infrastructure management.
• Translate complex product requirements into robust technical specifications and trade-offs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and modern frameworks like NestJS.
• Deep understanding of system design, distributed systems, and RESTful API architecture.
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred), Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (Redis) databases and message queues.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience scaling B2C products to millions of users.
• Basic proficiency in Go for maintaining services.
• Hands-on experience with React for frontend autonomy.
