What you will do

• Develop and maintain time-series forecast models for energy demand and generation.
• Build and optimize data pipelines to process energy consumption data for over 12 million accounts.
• Create and enhance forecasting dashboards and visualization tools.
• Research and implement new machine learning techniques to improve pipeline accuracy.
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and traders to support energy market operations.
• Test datasets to identify new features for training predictive models.

Requirements

• Candidate must identify with a Black, Black British, African or Caribbean background.
• Basic proficiency in Python programming.
• Strong numerical and problem-solving skills.
• Genuine interest in the energy industry or net-zero initiatives.
• Ability to thrive in an environment that encourages challenging opinions.
• Interest in learning data engineering principles, including SQL and version control.
