TL;DR
Software Engineer (Ho Chi Minh) (Python/C#/Java/C++): Design, build, test, and deploy proprietary trading, data collection, analytics, and post-trade systems with an accent on distributed computation, large-scale data management, and mathematical modelling. Focus on designing asynchronous and networked software, automating operational tasks, and building systems from the ground up.
Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
What you will do
- Design, build, test, and deploy proprietary software for trading simulation, large-scale data collection, analytics, and post-trade reconciliation.
- Develop systems optimized for distributed computation and advanced mathematical modelling.
- Document development phases and monitor deployed systems.
- Automate operational tasks using appropriate tools and scripting.
- Own a business area or application end to end and contribute directly to team outcomes.
Requirements
- 3–8 years of software development experience in small, fast-moving, technology-driven companies.
- Fluency in imperative and object-oriented programming; Python, C#, Java, or C++ preferred.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
- Familiarity with network and asynchronous programming, WebSockets, REST interfaces, and agile development.
- Strong curiosity, problem-solving ability, conscientiousness, logic, and openness to new ideas.
- English: fluent.
Nice to have
- Interest or previous experience in trading or blockchain.
