What you will do

• Define the release architecture, core data model, and relationships across services and environments.
• Lead technical strategy for security, scalability, and the immutable evidence trail infrastructure.
• Architect complex integrations with CI systems like Pipelines and GitHub Deployments.
• Solve complex performance and reliability challenges to support high-scale production systems.
• Mentor engineers, promote best practices, and drive alignment on technical decisions.
• Work closely with stakeholders to translate governance and release challenges into practical solutions.

Requirements

• Must be based in the ANZ or PST time zones.
• Proven experience working in high-scale production environments.
• Proficiency in Go, Ruby on Rails, or similar backend languages.
• Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS) and containerized applications.
• Experience with distributed systems, observability, and relational databases like PostgreSQL.
• Background in CD systems, release orchestration, or progressive delivery patterns.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes and Terraform.
• Familiarity with streaming or event-driven systems like Kafka or Flink.
• Background in SRE, systems programming, or Linux internals.
• Knowledge of release governance, DORA metrics, or regulatory compliance.
