Software Engineer (Go)

Location: Armenia, Cyprus, or Poland; remote or on-site options are available

What you will do

• Design and develop backend services in Go.
• Design event-driven architecture and asynchronous interactions between services.
• Build and maintain microservices and high-load, fault-tolerant systems.
• Design REST and gRPC/Protobuf APIs and work with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Maintain code quality through reviews, testing, profiling, and engineering standards.
• Collaborate with product, frontend, DevOps, and QA specialists.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience, including 3+ years with Go.
• Strong knowledge of Go, including goroutines, channels, context, interfaces, generics, memory management, garbage collection, and escape analysis.
• Experience with microservices, event-driven development, event sourcing, CQRS, pub/sub, saga patterns, SOLID, DDD, and Clean Architecture.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL, Redis or MongoDB, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and message brokers such as NATS, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
• Experience with observability tools, cloud platforms, infrastructure as code, performance optimization, testing, TDD, benchmarks, and profiling.
