What you will do

  • Define the long-term architecture for systems, infrastructure, and the developer platform.
  • Lead engineering workstreams to translate product vision into scalable technical execution.
  • Build and scale a world-class engineering organization across US and international talent hubs.
  • Establish engineering culture, development standards, and hiring processes.
  • Evaluate technical trade-offs between iteration speed and long-term design.
  • Coordinate cross-team technical execution and resolve complex architecture challenges.

Requirements

  • Extensive technical foundation in system architecture, large-scale systems, and distributed architecture.
  • Proven track record of building or leading high-performing engineering teams.
  • Strong judgment regarding technical trade-offs and engineering priorities.
  • Ability to operate effectively in early-stage environments with high ambiguity.
  • Clear communication skills and ability to align distributed teams.
  • Hands-on experience in engineering leadership within a growing organization.

Hiring process

  • 3 to 4 interviews conducted via virtual meetings and/or onsite.
