What you will do
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan focused on API market expansion and developer engagement.
- Lead and mentor technical sales teams, including field sales engineers and solutions architects.
- Build and manage relationships with key enterprise clients and strategic partners to drive API adoption.
- Define and optimize sales processes, including lead generation, PoC management, and enterprise licensing negotiations.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure API roadmaps align with sales objectives.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences to promote the API brand.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise sales leadership within AI, LLMs, or developer-focused SaaS companies.
- Deep understanding of API economies, REST/GraphQL, and authentication models.
- Strong technical acumen to engage effectively with developers, CTOs, and technical architects.
- Track record of managing complex sales cycles, multi-year contracts, and tiered pricing models.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering.
