DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes)

Location: Rotterdam, Netherlands; candidates must currently reside in the Netherlands and work from the office.

What you will do

• Build and maintain an internal developer platform and standardized self-service tools.
• Enable product teams to deploy and manage services independently with minimal friction.
• Improve CI/CD workflows, automation, and reusable golden paths.
• Contribute to dashboards, logging, alerting, and operational visibility in the cloud environment.
• Strengthen secure defaults, security scanning, reliability practices, and cloud cost visibility.
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers, product teams, and other engineers on deployment and infrastructure improvements.

Requirements

• Current residence in the Netherlands and availability to work from the Rotterdam office.
• At least 2 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Systems Engineer, or in a similar role.
• Experience with containerization systems such as Docker.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, particularly with GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Kubernetes, especially Google Kubernetes Engine, and Linux systems such as Ubuntu or Debian.
• Willingness to continuously develop technical knowledge and assess relevant developments in AI, security, and DevOps.

Nice to have

• Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• Scripting or programming experience with Bash, PHP, Python, or Go.
• Experience with LLM integration systems and techniques.
• Knowledge of infrastructure security practices.
