Cloud Orchestration Engineer (HPE Morpheus)

Location: Hybrid work in the Netherlands, with work locations in Hoofddorp, Maasland, Soesterberg, and Den Helder; approximately two days per week onsite. Candidates must hold Dutch nationality and a Dutch passport, speak and write Dutch, and obtain a VGB-B security clearance.

What you will do

• Design, configure, manage, and evolve the HPE Morpheus Enterprise Cloud Orchestrator and its infrastructure requirements.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as Code for automated Morpheus deployments and configurations.
• Provision VM, container infrastructure, networking, and storage services securely, reliably, and with strong performance.
• Troubleshoot Morpheus and integrations with networking, storage, backup, operating systems, DNS-DHCP-IP management, Active Directory, ServiceNow, and automation platforms.
• Implement security requirements based on technical specifications, CIS, and STIG standards.
• Maintain testing, acceptance management, configuration documentation, operational procedures, and security records.

Requirements

• At least three years of Linux system administration experience, one year of demonstrable cloud experience, and two years of experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of cloud management, networking protocols, security principles, virtualization, and orchestration.
• Experience with Ansible playbooks, scripting, automation, GitLab, Python, Terraform, and REST APIs.
• Experience with Nutanix Cloud Clustering, Morpheus, AWS, Azure, or comparable cloud platforms.
• Dutch nationality, a Dutch passport, written and spoken Dutch, and VGB-B clearance are required.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, attention to detail, and teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code, Nutanix, Red Hat Ansible, scripting and automation, or AWS/Azure.
• Cloud technology certifications.
• HPE Advanced Product certifications for Morpheus Enterprise administration, automation, or engineering.
