What you will do

• Manage and mentor a team responsible for full-cycle accounts payable and multi-entity month-end close processes.
• Liaise with cross-functional partners and external stakeholders to develop creative solutions for accounting challenges.
• Execute and optimize key financial workflows including accruals, intercompany transactions, capitalized software, and stock-based compensation.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and eliminate single points of failure.
• Assist in the preparation of internal and external financial audits to ensure reporting accuracy.
• Analyze financial variances and provide comprehensive expense analysis to support the FP&A team.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in general ledger accounting within public accounting or industry.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Strong background in designing and scaling complex accounting processes.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel for large data set management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and rapidly evolving environment.
