What you will do

• Lead technical accounting analysis for M&A purchase accounting, including memo preparation and journal entries.
• Manage the alignment of accounting policies and integration of acquired entities into NetSuite.
• Collaborate on structuring earnout and contingent consideration calculations.
• Support month-end close processes, including complex reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Oversee and develop junior accounting professionals while fostering a culture of accountability.
• Ensure adherence to GAAP and maintain internal controls in an audit-ready state.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• CPA or equivalent certification required.
• 3 to 5+ years of progressive accounting or audit experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and accounting operations.
• Proven experience with complex M&A accounting transactions.
• Must be local to Waltham, MA; no work sponsorship provided.
