Senior Solutions Architect (GraphQL)

Location: Remote within the United States or Canada. U.S. employment requires authorization verification through E-Verify.

Salary: $165,000–$210,000 USD annually, including base salary and variable compensation; equity and benefits are also offered.

A software product company building a GraphQL platform for federated, distributed architectures.

What you will do

• Guide enterprise engineering teams from GraphQL proof of concept through production deployment of federated graphs.
• Educate customers on the value of the GraphQL platform and help consolidate existing GraphQL initiatives.
• Assess customer goals, roadmaps, culture, technical architectures, and rollout strategies.
• Design solutions and use cases that accelerate federated graph adoption and maximize customer business value.
• Create code samples, review implementations, and advise engineers and technical leads.
• Improve documentation, open-source libraries, and the platform based on customer feedback and real-world issues.

Requirements

• Technical background in enterprise data delivery and APIs.
• Experience with software architecture and distributed architectures.
• Ability to create code samples, review code, and advise engineering teams.
• Strong customer communication, consulting, organization, and follow-through skills.
• Empathy, creativity, problem-solving ability, and an interest in mentoring and collaboration.
• Must be located in the United States or Canada for this remote role.
