What you will do

• Lead software engineering teams to design, build, and operate scalable, reliable services and applications.
• Own end-to-end technical delivery, including system design, API design, and data modeling.
• Define and drive the technical roadmap for your domain, making data-informed decisions.
• Establish and enforce engineering excellence practices, including code quality, automated testing, and CI/CD.
• Build, grow, and mentor a diverse team of software engineers.
• Safely integrate and operate AI/ML-enabled solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Level; Technical Degree Preferred.
• 8+ years of relevant professional experience and 3+ years of people management experience.
• Experience leading software engineering teams with accountability for services or products in production environments.
• Proven ownership of services or systems, including responsibility for design, implementation, deployment, and ongoing operations.
• Strong technical expertise in designing and building distributed systems, including system design, API design, and data modeling.
• Demonstrated ability to set technical direction and drive execution through cross-functional collaboration.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience designing and evolving large-scale, distributed, high-availability systems and platforms.
• Track record of building high-performing engineering teams.
• Deep experience with observability, reliability, and operational practices for always-on services.
• Familiarity with AI-driven systems, tools, or workflows and applying AI/ML concepts to real-world products.
